Apryl started out as employed as a medical examiner and worked in the sector. She later chose to pursue a musical career. Not being able to impress before the panel of judges Apryl wasn't selected. She was later given the opportunity to meet a well-known singer and toured as an assistant singer. Within a couple of months, the two were able to join the eight cast members of Vh1's Hollywood. The premiere season is about the birth and pregnancy of Megaa Grandberry. The second season examines Megaa's career insecurities and frustrations while she achieves newfound success. Omarion and Apryl were not present at recording the second season of reunion because Omarion had been on tour. Apryl announced on the 7th of December 2015 that both of them had decided to leave the show. They will not appear in the next season. In March 7, 2016 Apryl welcomed their daughter A'mei-Kazuko Grandberry. Four months later Apryl and Omarion have announced their split. Apryl was scheduled to make an appearance on the show in season four where she would meet together with Lil' Fizz discuss a potential B2K reunion. Apryl is back in season six of the series, which is about her custody battle with Omarion as well as the speculation about her romantic relationship with Lil' Fizz. In the sixth season of Apryl her and Lil' Fizz confess to having an intimate relationship which results in her conflict with Moniece.
