Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor. She was born on June 13th, 1962. In 1983, following her film debut Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat pack of actors. She was in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) as well as WarGames. Sheedy's performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actress. Ally Sheedy is an American actor and author. She started her career in acting with the crime film Bad Boys at the beginning of the 1980s. The film was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown as well as Alan Ruck also appeared. In the wake of her success in her first film she also appeared in the 1985 comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. The movie was directed by John Hughes is considered one among the most memorable high school films ever made. Despite a budget of only 1 million dollars, the film's earnings exceeded $50 Million. In the meantime she started appearing on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first TV appearance. It was a show for teenagers and began airing in April 1980. She also appeared on other shows on TV, including Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, with Sheedy as a small cameo. Sheedy has been recognized for her extraordinary performance, has won numerous awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' Silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
